Some designs don't contemporise without losing the essential point, the golden lion crest is one of those, there is no other way to do it.
Superbly detailed and finished in highly polished gilt which looks fabulous and will keep it's finish with wear, they are large at 20mm long and 17mm tall.
In heraldry this is a 'Lion Passant Gardant' or Lion of England and is the Lion on the coat of arms of England and Wales.
